In Nigeria, it is normally a routine for an environmental sanitation to be held by citizens of every state on every last Saturday of the month but it can be cancelled if there are any more important issues that takes the day such as public holidays, elections, examinations and other public exercises.As I was waking up today, I was a bit confused as to whether the sanitation would hold or not since we were already expecting it to hold but were not really sure it will. It was a just a week after the Easter break and so many doubted that it would hold. On environmental day, people are not allowed freedom to move around from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and anyone who is found guilty would normally have to pay for it.Different states in Nigeria tend to enforce environmental sanitation of every last Saturday of the monthHow to know if there is environmental sanitation in your state
